Minimum Skills and Education:  Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field required. Must have experience working with children and adolescents. Knowledgeable and comfortable with computer-based systems. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions

Provides diagnostic assessments with clients

Provides individual, group and family counseling and collateral services

Performs skill-building and therapeutic group activities

Initiates and coordinates case supervision and treatment planning activities

Participates in program planning, insurance authorization, case consultation and staffing

Assumes other responsibilities as assigned or required

Special Skills: Thorough knowledge of the theory and practice of child and family counseling.  Ability to formulate and implement solution-focused treatment plans. Ability to work cooperatively with community agencies to implement mental health services
